Top 10 Products Under $10

Top 10 under $10

Happy Friday, everyone! I thought I’d celebrate the start of Columbus Day weekend (and the end of my first round of midterms) with a budget friendly beauty post. Keep reading to see which ten drugstore beauty buys made my top ten!

faceI wanted to start off with some of my staple face products. This Neutrogena face primer is one of my favorites from the drugstore. It’s really light under make up so you don’t feel like you’re wearing multiple layers of product on your face, but the formula really helps keep your makeup on. The Neutrogena Healthy Skin bronzer is a great, everyday bronzer for people with light to medium skin tones. The checkered squares of pigment are mostly just a gimmick, so I just use a fluffy powder brush to sweep the bronzer around the edges of my face for a little bit of added warmth. If you’re into contouring, you can use a smaller, stiffer brush for a more accurate application.

My last face product is a liquid concealer from the L’Oreal True Match line. I’m the shade W 4-5 in the summer, and I love that this line comes with three different pigment ranges for various skin undertones. This is probably my third or fourth tube of this stuff, and I definitely intend to repurchase when I run out. It has great coverage, and the formula goes on naturally without caking.

When it comes to the eyes, Maybelline and NYX never disappoint. Maybelline’s The Rocket mascara is an all-around great formula, and it definitely deserves its cult-like blogger following. I use the waterproof version, and the mascara never smears or flakes. I have quite thin lashes, and The Rocket definitely pumps them up and makes them look a lot thicker and blacker. Similarly, Maybelline’s Color Tattoo eyeshadow line has developed a loyal following as well. These cream eyeshadows come in great shades, and are awesome as bases or just alone. And while I can’t corroborate the 24 hour claim, (who wears eye makeup for 24 hours straight?) these eyeshadows last all day and resist water, soap, and sweat.

The NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils are arguably the best eyeshadow pencils under $10. NYX carries a huge range of shades, both matte and shimmery, so there’s nothing not to like about these. The formula is ultra creamy and really pigmented, and has really good lasting power. If you don’t own any, I suggest checking out these two staple shades: Milk and Black Bean. I have the shade 608 Cottage Cheese, which I like to use as an inner corner highlight.

Revlon was a clean sweep when it came to choosing my favorite lip products. Their newer product lines have been especially great, but I love some of their classic ones as well. I have Revlon’s Super Lustrous Lipstick in Coralberry, and it’s probably my favorite spring/summer lipstick color. It’s natural enough to be worn during the day, but it’s a cheerful coral toned pink that I think would be flattering on a lot of different skin tones.

The two balm stains I’m including are from different lines, but both of them are great products. Striking is a great classic red from the ColorBurst Matte Balm line, and the chubby pencil style makes application really easy. From the ColorBurst Balm Stains, I have the shade Honey. Honey is great nudey pink that has a slight mauve undertone, and it’s a really great subtle shade for everyday wear. What I especially like about these three products is that none of them dry out your lips. I was a little concerned about the matte shade, but all of them have really nice, smooth formulas.

makeup remover

Finally, I’m rounding out my top ten with an eye makeup remover. Almay is a great brand for those with sensitive skin, and this eye makeup remover is super gentle but really effective. I use a cotton pad soaked in the solution, and it easily takes off stubborn makeup like waterproof mascara and eyeliner. This makeup remover also doesn’t sting the eyes, which is a definite plus, and I’ve never experienced any irritation from using it.

I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing my favorite drugstore products! Know of another inexpensive beauty product that I’m missing out on? Tell me in the comments down below so I can try it out!

There are lots of exciting things headed your way soon (including another giveaway), so make sure that you’ve followed me so you don’t miss out!
