I’ve previously mentioned on my blog that I’m allergic to tree nuts. Unfortunately, this means that holy of all holies, Nutella, is off limits to me because it contains hazelnuts. I am allowed to have peanut butter though, so when I heard that Reese’s had come out with its own spin on Nutella, I had to try it out. Keep reading to see what I thought!
Is anyone else just a huge fan of how smooth and flawless the surface of the spread is when you first open the seal? Anyone? (Comment down below so I know it’s not just me.)
The texture of the spread is really creamy, though it’s a little thinner than peanut butter. It smells exactly like a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, and basically just looks like a thoroughly blended form of the candy.
The packaging is basically an exact replica of the Nutella packaging, except in the trademark orange and brown of Reese’s products. I tried it out on bread that my mother baked at home and it was pretty good. It’s a little disorienting using something that sweet on bread but I think it would make a really good topping or dip for apples or bananas too. If you have a picky kid that doesn’t like to snack on fruits and veggies, this might be a good way to make it more palatable for them!
Would you ever trade in your Nutella for something like this? Have you tried another Nutella dupe that you really liked? Share it down below in the comments!
This product was sent to me for consideration by Influenster and Reese’s. However, all opinions expressed are my own honest impressions of the product.
I love Reese’s Cup, so this is something I would like to try. 🙂 Nutella is okay, but it can get sickening after several spoonfuls—though this is convincing enough since my taste buds should handle this. I mean I do like Reese’s Cup. Have you had cookie butter before? I like that over Nutella 😀

I have not had cookie butter before, but that sounds like something I definitely have to try in the future! Thanks for the suggestion 🙂
