Pura D’Or Hair Care Review

Pura D'Or

I’ve been MIA from blogging for the past month or so with finals coming and the year coming to an end, so I definitely apologize for my absence. My next post will likely be in mid-May, at which point I will return to my regular posting schedule! Now that the logistics are out of the way, let’s hop right into this review.

Ever since chopping my hair short in the winter, I’ve been looking for gentle, nourishing products to help my hair stay strong and healthy while I grow it back out. I’d heard a little bit about Pura d’or from several other bloggers and friends, and decided I had to try it out for myself.

Keep reading to hear my thoughts on the Organic Moroccan Argan Oil and the Premium Organic Conditioner in Lavender Vanilla!

The Argan Oil comes in a dark, weighty glass bottle with a spray nozzle. The scent is light and clean, and texture of the oil is fairly light as well. What I especially enjoyed about this particular product is that it’s formulated for use on not just the hair, but for the body and face as well. It makes a great, nourishing moisturizer for dry skin, and is a great pampering product. I also love the metallic gold packaging, and how sturdy the bottle is.

The second product I tried from Pura d’or was the Lavender Vanilla Argan Oil Conditioner. Like the Argan Oil above, it comes in a sturdy bottle with a gorgeous metallic label. The conditioner also has a pump for easy dispensing, which I love.

I’m usually not a fan of sweet floral scents, but the fragrance was surprisingly light and fresh, and wasn’t heavy at all. The texture of the conditioner was rich and creamy, and didn’t weigh down my hair or make it feel greasy after rinsing it out. My hair naturally has a very smooth texture, but I did notice that the ends of my hair felt softer after using the conditioner for about a week.

Overall, if you’re looking to try out some new hair products and love natural and organic beauty, I would definitely recommend trying out this line by Pura d’or. They also have a matching shampoo for the above conditioner, as well as tons of other amazing products that are for sure worth trying out.

Pura d’or generously sent me these products to try and review. All opinions expressed above are my own honest impressions of the products.
